The yays and nays:
Burning CAN is rain or shine. No ticket refunds (if you can’t make it, we bet you can find a friend who CAN!).
Kids—this is an event for adults. If you have to bring the kids, they are welcome for the price of a designated driver ticket. Kids under 10 are free. Adults who lose track of their children will be sent to time out.
Please DO bring your driver’s license or other government-issued photo i.d. We can’t give you a wristband-to-drink without one!
Please DO bring sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, chairs for watching the band, and cash for food truck and merchandise purchases (there’s also an ATM in the Tasty Weasel).
Handheld umbrellas are ok.
Please DON’T bring any weapons, fireworks, coolers, tents, outside alcohol, or flying objects.
Festival organizers, at their discretion, reserve the right to deny access to the event or to expel from the event anyone who jeopardizes the safety of festival attendees, event staff or themselves.
Parking & Map:
Burning CAN is located at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC. To get to the brewery, take exit 40 for Hwy 280 West off of I-26. Take Hwy 280 towards Brevard for approximately 17 miles. Turn LEFT on Ecusta Rd. At the end of Ecusta Rd. take a RIGHT on Old Hendersonville Hwy. Take an immediate RIGHT on Mountain Industrial Dr. Need even more detailed directions? Ride your bike to Burning Can! A group ride led by the Bike Farm will meet at the Transylvania County Courthouse on Main St. at 12:15 p.m. Another crew will head out from the Lowe's parking lot on Highway 64 at 12:30 p.m.
Ride/Paddle with the Brewers:
Get after it before you sample 100+ beers from 30+ breweries. Paddle or ride with the brewers participating in Burning Can. Meet at the brewery at 9 a.m. for a guided mountain bike ride in Pisgah National Forest led by the Bike Farm OR meet at the brewery at 9 a.m. for a road bike ride guided by the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club OR meet at the brewery at 9 a.m. for a paddle down the French Broad River from Hap Simpson Park to the Wilson Bridge takeout.
